A COMPLETE GAME - WHERE WHITE GONE ASTRAY AND LOST QUICKLY

Here we give a complete game with some annotations at key positions during the game.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 a6 4. Bxc6 dxc6 5. Nxe5

























Qd4 6. Ng4 Qxe4+ 7. Ne3 Be6 8. O-O O-O-O 9. Nc3 Qg6 [Black has castled Queenside and the gameplan is simple to throw everything at Whites King and or Queen.]
























10. d3 f5 11. Re1 Bd6 12. Qf3 Nh6 13. Bd2 Rhf8 14. Nf1

Ng4 15. Bf4 Bc5 16. Be3 Nxe3 17. Nxe3 Rde8 18. Re2 Qf6 19. Rae1 g5 20. Qh5 Re7

21. Nc4 g4 22. Re5 [White commits a seious error which gives Black total control and the game. Whites Queen has been decentralised and cut of the action and remained there until it was trapped by a Black Rook on h8.]

























Bd4 23. R5e2 Bxc3 24. bxc3 Bf7 25. Qxh7 Rxe2 26. Rxe2 Rh8[ The final blow, The Queen on h7 has nowwhere to run. Black's plan was simple castle Queenside and attack on the Kingside and White being a beginner reacted on the Kingside and never got time to start a Queenside attack. Intsead the White Queen was decentralised and trapped on the kingside.

THE SPANISH OPENING - SAMPLE LESSON 1

The Spanish Opening:

The Spanish Opening belongs to the King pawn family of openings and is one of the most famous openings played on the international scene.

The chess normal opening moves are:

1.e4 e5

2.Nf3 Nc6

3.Bb5

This move (3.Bb5) by White signals that he wants to play the Spanish Opening.

Eliminating the defender:

Here Black normally plays 3....a6 chasing the bishop on b5. White can capture the knight on c6. The only defender of the e5 pawn.

4.Bxc6 dxc6

5.Nxe5

Black has lost a pawn, is it false or true?  Can you find a way to regain the Black pawn or is the pawn lost for good. This is a very simple idea, but could lead any beginner into a battle which he or she might not be ready for.
